Momento, formerly Whispa, is the boat Captain Chris grew up with and learned offshore sailing, cruising, and boat maintenance and provided the inspiration for the dream that he is currently living today.

Momento’s name is derived from Moment, while also a nod to a childhood of sailing. Her hailing port, Mystic Connecticut, signifies the place where Chris’s father first learned to sail as a young boy with Chris’s grandfather. Interestingly both Moment and Momento are Sparkman & Stephens designed and were purchased in the same Annapolis yard juxtaposed a few spaces and 20 years apart.

The classically beautiful Momento is a Tartan 34, very popular for day and weekend sailing. She has a spacious cockpit and a simple, but comfortable layout below with single head, icebox and stove top. She will be available for day sailing in Provincetown from June – September for up to six guests.
