Provincetown Summer 2019 – One for the books

Summer 2019’s weather was really glum … Until July 1st that is! The gorgeous weather turned on and stayed on as soon as the month changed and lasted into early October.

We had some interesting guests aboard including a documentary crew filming for a well known network, and some celebrities including Comedian Matteo Lane, Musician Marc Almond (Tainted Love), and some now regulars Jonathan Bennet (Mean Girls), and Jaymes Vaughan (Celebrity Page).

Celebrities in their own right, this was a season for wildlife! The whales were in the harbor significantly closer and more frequent than usual. This became a regular delight for guests to see whale spouts. We also had a large influx of sunfish – very large prehistoric looking creatures that hover near the surface and occasionally jump clear out of the water.

While we mostly did day sails, we did have some multi-day trips that provided adventure and exploration in New England waters. Our season was capped off with a multi-day trip to Nantucket and beyond.

We are very excited for summer 2020 in Provincetown!
